We would like to recommend the work of Sharam. He did two bathroom renovations- one in 2005 and the second this year 2006. They have turned out to be very attractive and with the second he was particularly accommodating as we had a visitor before the job was completed and he put in a temporary counter top so that the bathroom could be used while the visitor was here.

He keeps to his schedule and estimates and gives a good selection of articles from which to choose. The big advantage is that he can do all the different aspects of the job himself e.g. electrical, plumbing and other construction items. The site is cleaned at the end of each day and he is pleasant to work with. We would use him again if we had other renovations to do.

As many of us know it is extremely hard to find qualified, reliable and dependable contractors these days which is what originally lead me to the Better Business Bureau website, once there the name ‘Bathman’ came up with an A+ rating with immediately impressed me. Further to this I checked the many references on his website impressing me even more. I immediately called to enquire about our pending bathroom renovations, set up an appointment and met with Sharam to hire him on the spot. Well this was likely one of the better decision we have made in a long while and with one week ahead of schedule we now showcase a brand new ensuite shower. I was originally very worried about the considerable mess such an undertaking might cause given that the carpets from the front entry leading up the stairs and through the master bedroom to the ensuite are the palest of beige and removing 25 year old fiberglass shower along with walls and ceiling would not be kind to our carpets. In addition would cement need to be poured, tiles set and grouted along with all of the other things that are part of such a project. Sharam and his assistant Amir took great care of the floor coverings by placing tarps from the first step you entered the home right to their work area, each evening everything was cleaned up and apart from the ongoing construction you would not have even known they had been there. It truly was very easy on us given the hardest task was to select the tiles which we did and simply left the rest up to Sharam and I am happy to say we were not disappointed. The shower turned out better then what we had expected and we thank Sharam and Amir for the outstanding work they did. Sharam is very forward thinking and we thank him for taking the initiative for installing a shut off valve that was never there before and could potentially come in very handy in the future. Sharam does it all and very, very well and we certainly would never hesitate to recommend him for any project and would not even entertain the notion of another contractor should a similar project that suits his skill set come along.

Sharam, thank you very much for everything, the shower looks so beautiful we almost don’t want to use it but we do go and look at it at least twice a day.

Renovations at the best of times are not an easy undertaking. However, Sharam Farkhondeh and his team have proved to us in two separate occasions that renovations can be accomplished in a timely, cost-effective manner while achieving a high degree of quality and creativity. In 2009, our master bathroom was in desparate need of an overhaul. We met with Sharam who outlined what was possible within our budget. Sharam and his assistant, Amir performed all the work themselves and assisted with the selection and purchasing of supplies. Also, as the project progressed, we discovered that Sharam was open to suggestions, maintained a high standard of workmanship and demonstrated a creative flourish. Our bathroom project was truly a collaborative effort and a creative masterpiece! So when we wanted to do major renovations to our house this past year, we went right back to Sharam and his team. The renovations included a kitchen makeover, a bathroom renovation, laying of a hardwood floor in our living / dining room, the tiling of the entrance and main hallways and renovating the appearances of two fireplaces. In addition, we wanted to have the entire first floor and second floor hallway repainted. Again, Sharam worked closely with us to realize our vision for each room, was honest and creative for costs of various options . His work plans incorporated our needs of living in the house during the renovation and demonstrated flexibility around third party contractors (in this case, window installers and gas fitter). What continued to impress us was his foresight in anticipating future issues and suggesting and incorporating solutions. His wealth of experience and proven creativity often led to ideas that turned out better than we thought possible (an example involved trying to find match wood and a likely desk top for a small kitchen desk – Sharam suggested using the leftover granite from the kitchen island to match the wood. The resultant desk turned out beautifully, but was made in a very cost-effective way). In the end, Sharam and his team delivered a high quality product resulting in making our home feel and look very much like the dream home we hoped it would be. We would readily use Sharam for any future work and highly recommend Sharam Farkhondeh and his team to anyone who wishes for practical and creative home renovations performed to a very high degree of workmanship.

My wife and I have just had our bathroom renovated by Sharam. Being an older home there were adjustments that needed to be made by him. He listened to our ideas, and needs and offered suggestions in how to make our bathroom functional, and modern.Sharam gave us a quote, and a timetable as to start and finish. The list of companies he supplied to us for selection of vanity, tiles, lights,etc. was top notch.

Sharam's work was right on schedule. Work started at 10 A.M. which gave us the time to plan our day. The work area was cleaned up nightly, and even vacuumed ( much to my wife's delight ). We were very comfortable leaving our home daily and have the work progress.

Sharam is skilled in construction, electrical, and plumbing. It was great not having to wait for other trades to come into our home to do work. He was very personable, and was flexible when some changes were asked to be made midstream even though it meant extra work for him.

We would recommend Sharam for any renovation needed to be done, and we wouldn't hesitate to contact him for any future work.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sharam’s company for work on any project. I had a full condo renovation that took 2 months to complete and Sharam, and his worker Peter, were there from start to finish. They both did a fantastic job! Sharam is reliable and takes pride in his work. I had to leave the country twice during the reno and felt totally confident leaving it in his hands. He was always there when he said he would be and didn’t get discouraged by setbacks. He was there when he was sick and did a beautiful job putting up with my incredibly nosey strata. He did everything from my bathroom to mouldings to laying my bamboo flooring and his workmanship was excellent. He didn’t cut corners or do things halfway and most importantly to me he let me know if he thought I was wrong in the way I wanted to do something. We first met with Sharam in January 2007 regarding having our main bathroom renovated. Our home is approximately 40 years old and everything in the bathroom was original. We discussed all aspects of the renovation – from his quotation, to the materials he would use, to how long the project would take. Sharam carefully considered what our needs were. We booked Sharam to start the project in mid February.

Sharam arrived on time to begin the work. He brought with him tile samples (floor and wall), countertop samples, grout samples, paint samples and cabinet samples. Sharam and his assistant, Peter began the work on the bathroom. Everyday when they completed their work for the day, they cleaned up. They were always careful to respect all areas of our home. Sharam was able to remove an unnecessary bulkhead and wall from the bathroom – giving us a larger bathroom. All the materials used were of the highest quality and the workmanship was excellent.

We then hired Sharam to renovate our Powder Room and our Kitchen. Sharam redesigned my existing Kitchen taking into consideration all of our needs. Once again – I chose the tile, counter top, paint etc.

All work was completed on time and within the budget.

My three rooms were totally transformed and we love them !

Sharam and his assistant, Peter were wonderful to work with. We appreciated their attention to detail and their attention to our needs. We highly recommend Sharam – The Bathman.

From the onset of our first renovation with Sharam, we became continually more confident that we were very lucky to have found him.

Sharam, without fail is reliable, diversified, a perfectionist and expert craftsman in every detail from the beginning to the completion of any project he takes the responsibility of. Sharam is surprisingly diversified, gives fair estimates with no extra costs and gives educated suggestions as a builder, contractor, and designer. Sharam only works with the highest quality materials and will not compromise that quality. Sharam is honest, totally trustworthy, and a delight to have around. We had no reservations about having Sharam and his excellent crew in our home, whether we were at home or not. Without exception, he was always paid attention to our choices and improved several. Every aspect of the job was approved by us before starting. Sharam has no reservations about asking another expert for advise if he has any questions or concerns.

Sharam has renovated two bathrooms, starting with plumbing and framing repairs. Every aspect of both bathrooms is built better than code. The bathrooms are magnificent! We had a shower head problem which was a manufacturer problem. Sharam had it replaced within twelve hours. While renovating both bathrooms, we had hired other contractors and tradespeople for several other jobs. We unfortunately had hired less than reliable "professionals." Sharam, every time, solved the problems and completed the jobs in his usual reliable and "perfectionist" manner. The jobs varied from consulting about door framing, new window framing, priming and painting the new window frames, and painting the stucco on our home in time for the winter rains. Any friends or building professionals we have had in our home since the renovations comment on the quality and excellent jobs Sharam has completed.

We hope that any renovation in our future will involve Sharam Farkhondeh.

We recently had our ensuite renovated by the “Bathman”. Sharam did an incredible job for us and we could not be happier with the end result. He moved a wall to enlarge the room, installed a beautiful frameless glass shower, did all the electrical, plumbing, carpentry and tile work. His attention to detail, his expertise and professionalism and his patience with clients who were sometimes indecisive were all very much appreciated.
